A9/A9152 crash update: Man charged with motoring offences by Highland police after crash near Kingussie which left another man in hospital

A man has been charged with road traffic offences following a crash near the A9 which left another man in hospital.

A 59-year-old man was taken to hospital following the one-vehicle crash on the B9152 near Kingussie at around 10.15am on Sunday.

It is understood that the man arrested and charged was in another vehicle. He has not been named.

Confirming that someone was charged, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.15am on Sunday, 19 October, 2025, we received a report of a one-vehicle crash on the B9152 near Kingussie.

“Emergency services attended, and a 59-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“A man has been charged in connection with road traffic offences. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
