A 25 year old Stirlingshire man will be sentenced on September 1 after admitting two offences involving abuse of his partner.

Robbie Burton of Karries Court, Denny, near Falkirk appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty to wilfully damaging his girlfriend's mobile phone at the camping lay-by on the ski road from Aviemore to Glenmore.

He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards her at the same location on the same day - April 26, 2022 - by swearing at her and struggling with her.

Before hearing the narrative, Sheriff David Sutherland called for a background report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.

Burton's bail was continued.
