The winners of the Badenoch Great Place Great Art competition have been announced.
They were revealed at an open event in the Iona Gallery in Kingussie on Monday night (19th August).
The competition is part of the Badenoch Great Place project.
It was organised on behalf of BGP by the Society of Badenoch and Strathspey Artists. There were separate competitions for adults, High School and Primary School students.
Around 100 people, including many families, enjoyed the competition art works on display in the Iona gallery.
Val Emmett, secretary of SBSA welcomed everyone to the exhibition and awarded the prizes to the school students.
Dr Oliver O’Grady the BGP project officer complimented all the competitors for their talented and diverse work, and made the awards to the adult prize winners.

The exhibition of the competition art work in the Iona Gallery is open between 11am to 5pm every day until Saturday, August 31.
During September the winning and commended works will tour community venues in Newtonmore, Laggan, Dalwhinnie and Kincraig.
