The school has had to cancel its annual end of term awards ceremony and S6 school prom because of the coronavirus outbreak.

But headteacher Mr Adamson said he hopes once restrictions are lifted this will allow the school to give a proper send off to departing pupils.

Mr Adamson said: "It is with regret we will not be able to hold this year’s awards ceremonies due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

"We realise the importance of celebrating pupils’ successes and achievements both in terms of the recognition it gives to their hard work and sustained effort but also the inspiration it can be for others too.

"We are sad not to be having graduation and prom this month but I am determined that we look to celebrate with our leavers at a later date when events are permitted and safe."
