The strath's largest school is closed today due to Covid related staff shortages.

Headteacher Ian Adamson apologised for any inconvenience.

He confirmed yesterday: "Kingussie High School is closed to pupils tomorrow due to staff shortage.

"We will switch to online learning so please check Google Classroom for work."

The Strathy has contacted the school for more details but understands it is due to staff having to isolate as close contacts of Covid cases.
