Housebuilder set to share development details with Newtonmore community
Tulloch Homes is welcoming existing residents of Newtonmore to an event to learn more about the development– including details of the 20 homes available exclusively to local buyers.
Residents are being encouraged to join the sales consultant and site manager at the village’s golf club on Friday 23rd August between 12pm and 3pm to hear about Spey Green.
The development by the housebuilder, part of the Springfield Group, goes on sale this weekend.
At the event interested members of the community will have the opportunity to see the site plan, layouts of the homes that will be going on sale, the level of specification Tulloch includes, location of the play park and how the development will link into the existing area.
Information about the construction route will also be available along with details of how the developers are already supporting the wider community.
At least 20 of the homes within the 60 home development have been earmarked exclusively for locals – meaning, people with local ties to the area such as those who already live in Newtonmore, grew up or have family in the village or work in the area can reserve these homes.
Tulloch Homes sales director Jo McLaren said: “We take great pride in supporting and working with the communities in areas we are building our high quality homes – and this is especially the case in rural communities like Newtonmore.
“We want our development to be a benefit to the wider community as well as those looking to buy one of our homes.
“We’ve agreed with the Highland Council to prioritise at least 20 of our homes – ranging from one, two, three and bedrooms – exclusively to those with local ties to Newtonmore to help ensure those who want to stay in the village to have the opportunity to do so.”
Set to go on sale this weekend, the development, will include a selection of one, two and three bedroom energy efficient homes – including apartments and bungalows.
