Book of condolence opened by Highland Council following death of Prince Philip

Highland Council has opened a book of condolence following the death yesterday of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The e-book of condolence is available on the local authority's website.

Contributions to the book of condolence will be reviewed, then published on the Highland Council website.

After the period of mourning, these messages will be archived for posterity.

The convener has written to The Queen to offer condolences.
