Muriel Cockburn (SNP) – 886

Dave Fallows (SNP) – 371

Declan Gallacher (Scottish Liberal Democrats) – 489

Highland Council's first ever Greens councillor Pippa Hadley has been voted out by the people of Badenoch and Strathspey.

Taking her place is Independent Russell Jones while voters chose to re-elect another independent Bill Lobban, the Conservative's John Bruce and the SNP's Muriel Cockburn.

The final tallies given represent the first preference votes before the Single Transferable Vote System calculations are made – to understand how the system works click here.
