The Kingussie High School Covid vaccination clinic due to take place today for pupils aged 12 to 15 has been postponed.

It was to be the first practical opportunity for many of the pupils to get their first jag.

But a school spokeswoman explained: "The Covid-19 vaccinations scheduled for today have been postponed by the NHS due to the number of KHS pupils in isolation.

"We have just been informed of this decision this morning so apologies for the short notice.

"We will be given a new date for vaccinations here at Kingussie High School and this will be shared with pupils, parents and carers as soon as we receive it."
