With Christmas coming up and the easing of restrictions, events will be a welcome return this year.

The Courier has put together a handy guide of events to the Inverness and surrounding areas for locals to enjoy.

From markets, to pottery painting and three day parties, there is something for everyone!

Christmas Market on the Green

11am-3pm, November 20

Drumnadrochit Village Green

Head along to this free fair which will showcase the best of local businesses and give you a head start on present buying.

Christmas Market

10am-2pm, November 20

Strathpeffer Community Centre

With free entry, this market has presents, tasty treats, and a special visit from Santa.

Christmas Pottery Painting

Wasps Creative Academy Inverness

Join the team for a creative and fun afternoon painting your own Christmas themed pottery.

Christmas Craft Market

From 10am, Wildwoodz

More than 60 vendors selling a range of crafts and food are available, with plenty of props to set the scene.
