Highlands Scottish Conservative MSP Edward Mountain has released details of his virtual summer surgery tour including to the strath.

This summer, the regional list MSP is holding virtual surgeries from the end of this month through to August which cover 36 locations across the Highlands.

He will be 'in' Grantown and Nethy Bridge on July 15 and in Boat of Garten, Carrbridge and Dulnain Bridge the next day.

Prior to the pandemic, Edward Mountain would journey hundreds of miles each summer to hold surgeries either in village halls or on the high streets of many Highland towns.

Mr Mountain MSP said: “I am very much looking forward to undertaking my second virtual summer surgery tour and engaging with hundreds of people throughout the region.

“My virtual summer surgeries will cover 36 locations in the far north of Scotland as well as communities within Inverness, Nairn and Strathspey.

“The lockdown restrictions mean I am again unable to embark on my usual 2500 mile journey this year.

"However, I am relishing the opportunity to meet with constituents online or via telephone, to listen to their views and take positive action on their behalf."

Booking is essential. More details can be found on the MSP's website.
