Two clinics for spring boosters to safeguard against Covid-19 will be held in the strath later this month.

The vaccination programme is continuing across NHS Highland with more clinics added for May and June.

The next sessions will be at Aviemore Community Centre on May 20 from 9am to 3pm and then Inverallan Hall in Grantown on May 23 from 9.30am to 3pm.

Both are only available by lettered appointment at this stage.

An NHS Highland spokeswoman said: "We are now carrying out vaccinations for those eligible for the Spring Booster, over 75s and the immunosuppressed, and the vaccination for our younger members of society, the 5-11s.

"The majority will be invited by letter to attend for their vaccination so please look out for that blue envelope arriving through your door.

"We are also updating our website on a regular basis with details of all clinics.

"Drop-in clinics will be arranged where we have capacity and will be advertised on our website and social media."
