Another healthy gathering at Aviemore Parkrun

Good conditions for today's189th Aviemore Parkrun outing saw some 61 people run, jog and walk the popular course.

There were 19 were first timers and eight recorded new personal bests.

TODAY: Aviemore's Zoe Russell powers towards the finish, cheered on by her partner Mark Caulfield. Timekeepers are Mags McHardy and Iain Atherton, with Iain's daughter Rachel (11) very ably completing her first stint as trainee timekeeper. Iain and Rachel live in Nairn but regularly participate and help at Aviemore.

Representatives of 15 different clubs took part in the event, which was made possible as ever by a cracking team of volunteers:

Mags McHardy, Pete Wright, Katie Hanson, Malcolm Hinsley, Iain Atherton, Hilary Quick, Bill Dewitt, Claire Rooney, Rachel Atherton and Vickie Rampton.
