A9 was closed for two hours by Granish after Sunday crash

A motorist has been charged following yesterday’s A9 road crash by Granish at Aviemore.

The incident forced the closure of the road for two hours as the emergency services attended the scene.

This morning a Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy:

“Around 1pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A9 at the A95, near Aviemore.

“The road was cleared around 3pm and a 72-year-old man was charged in connection with a road traffic offence.”
