Inverness Caledonian Thistle have raised over £80,000 with a crowdfunding campaign to help keep the club out of administration.

But Caley still requires around another £120,000 in the next 48 hours to meet the £200,000 target which would guarantee staying out of administration on Wednesday.

As of 4pm on Monday afternoon, the total stood at £80,593 on the club’s Gofundme page.

The club is also reported to be in talks with potential investors, with parties from Denmark, United Arab Emirates and the United States rumoured to be interested in talking to the club.

Even if Inverness Caledonian Thistle fails to reach the £200,000 target by Wednesday, all donations will still go to the club to help pay off its running costs.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Duncan Ferguson says he hopes that he will still be manager of the club for their League One clash with Annan Athletic on Saturday.

But he said if administrators are implemented this week, whether he, his management team or players in the squad remain at Inverness would be unknown.
