A recording of a Cairngorms National Park Authority planning committee hit by IT technical issues can now be watched online.

The broadcast was due to start at 10am on Friday but members of the public could not access the livestream.

Instead those clicking on the link were passed between two pages on the CNPA's website.

As a result, the public was unable to watch the proceedings.

The park authority has made the recording available at its website.

The CNPA's solitictor Peter Ferguson confirmed it was okay to proceed with the planning meeting in the circumstances and make the recording available later under emergency Covid regulations.

Members had waited 15 minutes minutes for a repair to the livestream but park planning boss Gavin Miles then said that this was unlikely.

Item agendas include consideration of the CNPA's response to two wind farm applications which could have a visual impact on views from within the national park, as well as an update on the launch of the Cairngorms National Park Minecraft world to the wider public.
