Business community gears up for 2024 Highland Business Awards with keynote by Alasdair Ferguson

Inverness Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Alasdair Ferguson will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Highland Business Awards, set to take place on Friday, September 27 at the Kingsmills Hotel.

A prominent figure in the Highlands business community and last year’s recipient of the Highland Business Leader of the Year award, Alasdair will share his expertise and insights with guests.

As the driving force behind Ferguson Transport & Shipping and Kishorn Port, his leadership has been instrumental in the rapid growth of these companies, which play a vital role in the regional economy.

With his deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that organisations in the Highlands face, Alasdair is uniquely positioned to inspire and guide this year’s audience.

His experience offers a valuable perspective on the current state of the regional economy and the realities of operating a business in the Highlands.

On his upcoming role as keynote speaker, Alasdair Ferguson, group managing director of Ferguson Transport & Shipping, said: “It’s an honour to be invited to speak at the Highland Business Awards. Last year’s recognition as Business Leader of the Year meant so much to me, and I’m excited to celebrate with this year’s finalists.
