Family of Marc Drostle informed after body discovered in woodland area of Nethy Bridge
Police have discovered what is understood to be the body of a man reported missing from London at the end of last year.
There were a number of local sightings of Marc Drostle in the lead up to Christmas and police issued several appeals for information on his whereabouts.
A body was found at 7.50am earlier today in a woodland area of Nethy Bridge.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: Emergency services including mountain rescue attended and the body of a man was recovered.
“Formal identification is still to take place, however, the family of 28-year-old Marc Drostle, who was reported missing from Aviemore on Saturday, 21 December, 2024, have been made aware.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Mr Drostle was believed to have travelled to the Aviemore area from London on December 12.
There were sightings of him reported in the Abernethy National Nature Reserve near Nethy Bridge between December Thursday 19 and Saturday December 21.
He was believed to have been seen in the Anagach woods area of Grantown around 3pm on Christmas Eve.
His family made an appeal as the weeks went by and he remained missing, calling on their much loved son to come home.
