Hospital trip after first-floor fall for Kingussie man

A 43-year-old man was taken by ambulance from Kingussie to hospital in Inverness on Friday afternoon (September 20) reportedly after a fall from a first floor flat.

The incident happened around 2.45 pm.

A police spokesperson told the Strathy that police and emergency services were called to a disturbance at a flat in Duke Street.

On arrival, a man was seen to fall from the first floor.

He was taken by ambulance to the Raigmore Hospital, Inverness for treatment.

No details on injuries have as yet been released but they were not thought to be serious, the spokesperson confirmed.

'There was no arrest and no crime was established.'
