An award-winning Highland businesswoman Clare Humphreys has launched a drive to boost women’s confidence in 2021

Clare Humphreys, of Kingussie, is running a new online four-week masterclass designed to empower women.

The move comes after a shock report from LinkedIn that stated nearly two thirds of women are feeling increased levels of stress or anxiety at work due to the pandemic – compared to less than half of men surveyed.

Clare, of Will to Win, will begin delivering Me, My ‘Self Image’ and I – she says to provide women with the tools they need to affect real change in their lives – in January.

She said: “The global pandemic has been a trying time for everyone, but it has been particularly difficult for women.

"There has always been a social stigma around overconfidence in women, but this year it has been more difficult than ever for women to feel a sense of self-value.”

LinkedIn’s research also showed that 27 per cent of working mums have been caring for their children on their own – with 32 per cent providing full-time childcare, compared to just 19 per cent of men.

Clare, who was named Highland Business Woman of the Year earlier this year, continued: “Women have a tendency to take on so much that they leave little time to devote to their own wellbeing.

"It’s a trap I have fallen into myself in the past but I learned that by taking the time to invest in my self-belief I was able to overcome many of the things that were holding me back.

“As we come to the end of such a challenging year, 2021 holds so much potential and I am dedicated to helping as many women as possible uncover the qualities within themselves to be the change that they need in their own lives.”

Delivered digitally, the four-week masterclass will cover a diverse range of topics including feeling worthy and being valued, self-esteem and fulfilment, and goal-setting and decision-making.

It is designed to provide women with the outlook and confidence they require to affect positive change within their own lives.

Me, My ‘Self Image’ – facilitated by Will to Win’s Clare Humphreys – begins on January 6, 2021. For more information, visit www.will-to-win.co.uk. Follow Clare on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram for the latest news and for regular inspiration.
