Another great run at Aviemore

Strathspey kept the show on the road today (January 25) with another hearty Parkrun.

Helping to notch up the140th outing were 76 keen runners, joggers and walkers, including 23 first-timers.

The morning saw 14 new PBs set.

In all, 14 different clubs were represented.

"We had visitors from across the UK with the first person home, Hugo, coming up from Catterick," said steward Pete Wright.

"The breezy conditions on the way back added to the challenge but the views of the Cairngorms aways spurs people on!

"It was great to see people new to parkrun come along today. It's a great way to start the weekend.

The event was made possible by Pete and eight other study volunteers: Katie Hanson, Hilary Quick, Janice Cargill, Bill Dewitt, Iain Wallace, Becks Ferguson, Isobel Paterson and Fergus Masson.
