Highland Council education chiefs have said that the strath's largest primary school is expected to re-open tomorrow after an unexpected day off for pupils.

Aviemore Primary School's classrooms are closed today due to a heating problem.

Parents discovered the premises were closed just a short time before the start of the school day.
