Another 18 confirmed coronavirus cases in NHS Highland area

New figures show an additional 18 confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours.

The new cases take the tally for the NHS Highland area since the start of the pandemic to 1148.

Some 1216 people have tested positive across Scotland in the past 24 hours, taking the national total to 69,660.

And there have been 39 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had 27 new recorded cases in the past day, taking its tally to 3512.
