A95 reopens after bus crash near Boat of Garten
The A95 Aviemore-Grantown road is reopen near Boat of Garten after an accident involving a Stagecoach bus and a car earlier this morning.
Emergency services attended the incident at the fisherman's car park by Lagyie which occurred just after 7am.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A single decker bus with no passengers on board and a Skoda vehicle were involved in the crash.
"The male driver of the Skoda was removed from the vehicle and transferred by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
"At this stage his condition is not known but early indications were that this was not life threatening.
"The road remained closed for a time to allow removal of occupants and heavy recovery to be arranged."
Police are appealing for information on the accident. The bus service runs between Inverness, Grantown and Aviemore.

A BEAR Scotland spokesperson said all routes had receiving double salt treatments overnight on the north west trunk road network.
Some 41 spreaders are currently patrolling routes and treating as necessary due to low temperatures and the potential for ice.
The spokeswoman said: "There are no on-going issues on the north west trunk roads with the A9 Dalnaspidal fully reopened at 5.20am in both directions following issues with a jack-knifed lorry earlier."Drivers are urged to drive to the conditions as this period of wintery weather continues."
