Works on the A9 between Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie which were due to start on Sunday have been postponed

In a statement issued this morning BEAR Scotland said new dates will be communicated “in due course.”

The initial plan was for overnight improvement works, with resurfacing and road marking upgrades due to be carried out from Sunday until Wednesday, Octobere 2.

Convoy systems were to be put in place for safety.

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland are set to carry out resurfacing and road marking improvements at multiple locations on the A9 between Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie.

The works will enhance road safety and improve the driving experience for road users, with works carried out in sections overnight from 7pm to 6am to minimise the impact on drivers.
