A9 road reopens by Aviemore

Traffic Scotland is reporting that the A9 has now reopened in both directions following a road traffic accident earlier this morning by Aviemore.

The incident occurred at around 6.40am on the B9152 at Lynwilg, just south of the village, which connects with the Inverness-Perth road.

The traffic agency reported all lanes are now open.

Drivers in the Highland region were being advised early this morning to drive with caution due to low temperatures affecting road conditions.
