A9 closed near to Dalnaspidal and emergency services at the scene

The A9 is closed in both directions due to an road traffic collision south of Dalwhinnie.

Emergency services are on the scene.

A spokesman for Traffic Scotland said: "The A9 is closed.

"A9 is closed in both directions due to an RTC near Dalnaspidal

"Traffic is queuing in both directions.

He added: "Emergency services are on scene. There will be updates as we get them."

It is understood traffic is moving slowly for northbound traffic but southbound traffic remains stationary.
