Police have issued a fixed penalty notice to a driver following a crash on the A9.

The A9 at Daviot has fully reopened following a road crash involving two vehicles this afternoon.

It happened near to the B851.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 2pm

A9 at Daviot is partially blocked in both directions

Police Scotland said there were no reported injuries.

One driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice for a driving offence.

Police have thanked motorists for their patience while the roadway was cleared.
