Inverness police charge two women for murder attempt on 35-year-old man and four robberies

Two women arrested yesterday in connection with an attempted murder and four robberies in Inverness have been charged.

Police say the victim of the attempted murder, in the Raigmore area of the city, was a 35-year-old man.

The accused – aged 23 and 39 – are set to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Two women – aged 23 and 39 – have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 35-year-old man in the Raigmore area and four reports of robbery across Inverness, which took place overnight between Tuesday, 24 June, and Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

“They are expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, June 26, 2025.”
