BURDEN - (nee Munro). After a long and bravely fought battle with cancer, Elspet passed away, at home, on Monday, 30th August, 2021, peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family in South Africa. Much loved wife to Douglas, a caring mother to Claire, Gayle, and Grant, sister to Allan, Jimmy and Beth in Aviemore and a cherished granny to six fabulous kids. A loving and emotional service took pace in Pietermaritzburg, on Friday, 3rd September, attended by her family and the friends who knew her for the 48 remarkable years she happily spent in South Africa.
