GILLON (Aviemore/Motherwell/Uddingston). Cathie and family would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for the many messages, cards and flowers received following the sad loss of their beloved John. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends and family who travelled a distance and local neighbours and friends who attended John's funeral and graveside service, which was conducted beautifully by Rev. Sonia Palmer. Sincere heartfelt thanks also go out to Jamie and his staff of Jamie R. Rodgers Funeral Directors for their exceptional care and professionalism shown throughout. Special thanks to Lois Maciver (pianist), Annie Florist for her outstanding floral wreaths, Ross Weir for his outstanding piping at the church and graveside and the staff at The Cairngorm Hotel for providing a beautiful buffet. Donations raised for Abbeyvale Residents Social Fund in memory of John amounted to £330.
