BARR (Badenoch & Strathspey). The Barr family would like to thank all who attended the funeral service for Donald Gilmour Barr, on 25th April at St Bride's Church, Newtonmore, for joining them in sharing thanks for Donald's life. Our warm appreciation goes to Donald's friend, the Reverend Mike Mair for leading the service and for sharing his own special memories of Donald and to all who have written tributes and loving messages to Morag and to Douglas, Alasdair and Elise. Special thanks to the staff of Main's House Care Home and to Jamie R. Rodgers Funeral Directors and to those who provided the lovely spring flowers for the church and to the staff of the Balavil Hotel. We would also like to thank all who kindly made donations through the website. The following sums were donated in memory of Donald: RSPB £370; TRACS £418.80; Scottish Poetry Library £418.80.
