Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2
Scorers - Dundee: Moussa (48) O’Hara (65) ICT - Doran (15) Oakley (88)
GEORGE Oakley saved Caley Thistle’s Scottish Cup dream as his goal two minutes from time forced a fourth round replay in Inverness.
Aaron Doran fired the Inverness side ahead after 15 minutes when the Dundee defence failed to deal with Brad Mackay's long throw into the box and the Irishman fired home from eight yards.
The hosts almost equalised midway through the first half when Sofien Moussa’s header beat goalkeeper Mark Ridgers but smacked against the crossbar before being punted away by the Jags defence.
Caley had a great chance to go two goals in front just before half time when Doran broke free from midfield. His pass found Oakley who had a great chance when one on one with the goalkeeper but he shot straight at Elliot Parish.
Dundee equalised three minutes after the break, when Cammy Kerr’s cross into the box was not dealt with by the Inverness defence allowing Moussa to power home from eight yards.
The hosts went in front midway through the second half when Iain Vigurs gave the ball away to Mark O’Hara who then charged up field and his powerful low drive from 18 yards beat Ridgers.
But Inverness rescued the tie in the dying minutes when Ricky Calder's cross from the left wing eventually found Oakley who squeezed in between Josh Meekings and O'Hara to score from six yards to force a replay in 10 days time.
