CALEY Thistle have signed Dutch defender Collin Seedorf on a two-year deal.
Seedorf, nephew of the legendary midfielder Clarence, joins Inverness after spending three seasons at second-tier side RKC Waalwijk, making 49 appearances and scoring two goals.
The 22-year-old is a centre-back but can also play as a right-back or holding midfielder. He is John Robertson’s fourth confirmed summer signing, after John Baird, George Oakley and Mark Ridgers, with Riccardo Calder and Zak Elbouzedi still to be announced by the club.
Seedorf trained with Greek side Veria last season but could not agree a deal and was released by RKC in the summer.
His uncle Clarence turned out for Ajax, Real Madrid and both Milan clubs in a stellar playing career. He became the first player to win the Champions League with three different sides in 2003 and also made 87 appearances for the Netherlands.
