WATCH: Van fire drama on Boat of Garten street

Fire-fighters have dealt with a van blaze in Boat of Garten this afternoon.

Shots of the action were caught by observer Pawel Dygner and posted on social media.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: “Officers were called to reports of a vehicle on fire on Kinchurdy Road, Boat of Garten at around 2.05pm today.

“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished.”

More on this as info comes in, but so far the incident is not thought to have been suspicious according to local sources.
