Yes - Having connections to Nethy Bridge since birth (my father was born there and we spent our summers there growing up), Heatherbrae has been in our lives for ever. It has to be the friendliest pub in Scotland! And is certainly much needed in this small tourist town. Please don't let it fall prey to the modern life! We need Heatherbrae in Nethy Bridge. No - Houses change hands all the time. If the hotel was making money would it be sold? If Nethy Bridge was not such a small place who would care. Stan Livingston, Toronto, Canada Yes - We regularly have holidays and long weekends in the Aviemore area and own a timeshare lodge at Coylumbridge. It is our intention to move into the area next year on retirement and we aim to become part of the community helping out with village fetes etc. To see the local hub of Nethy Bridge close would diminish community life and what is currently a wonderful village will become like many others, a place to live with no real caring or social integration.
