Roger Mark, a former Kingussie High School pupil graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a postgraduate masters degree in economics. The son of Bert and Lynda Mark, of West Terrace, Kingussie, Roger graduated MA (Hons) in economics and politics from the same university in 2007. He recently took up a position in a two-year graduate training programme with an Edinburgh-based investment management company.
Gail Manchester graduated from Edinburgh University with an Honours degree in Law (LLB) in 2007 and a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice in 2008. She is the daughter of Neil and Catherine Manchester, Kilmelford, and granddaughter of Barbara Paterson, Edenkillie, Aviemore. Gail attended Oban High School and was formerly Dux and School Captain. She is about to commence a two-year legal traineeship with Burness LLP in Edinburgh.
Finlay Murray, son of Bruce and Mairi Murray of Braeval, Carrbridge, graduated from Napier University with a BEng in Computer Networks and Distribution Systems. He now lives in London and is employed by Deloittes in an IT role.
Joyce Lindsay, (54), graduated with a BSC Open in IT from the Open University and received her Honours at Glasgow University. Mrs Lindsay works as a lecturer in IT at Inverness College. She is the daughter of Jean and the late Allan Morrison and lives with her husband Gary in South-west High Street in Grantown.

Jenny Masterson, a former Grantown Grammar School pupil, graduated BA (Hons) in Popular Music from Napier University and recently started working for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh. She is the daughter of John and Patricia Masterson who now live in Harris.
Amy Munro graduated MA (Hons) in Social Policy from Glasgow Universtiy. Amy is the daughter of Peter and Alda Munro, of 'Corroue’, East Terrace, Kingussie.
Andrew Main, son of Kathryn Main and the stepson of Peter Main, Craigellachie House, Newtonmore, former pupil of Kingussie High School, graduated BSc (Hons) in Combined Studies from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Andrew continues his studies at Napier University, Edinburgh for an MSc in Multimedia and Interactive Systems.
Lorna Murray, former Kingussie High School Dux, graduated in Law LLB Hons from Edinburgh University. Lorna is the daughter of Don and Lynne Murray, of Grampian View, Aviemore.
Rhona Laing, a former Grantown Grammar School pupil, graduated with Masters in Architecture from The Scott Sutherland School in Aberdeen. She was further awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Architectural Studies for her year. She is now working with Forres firm Law, Dunbar and Naismith. Miss Laing is the younger daughter of Grantown builder Willie Laing and his wife, Wendy, and granddaughter of Hilda Laing and the late Alistair Laing.
