A Boat of Garten youngster has taken gold at the Scottish Dryslope Freestyle Championships run by Snowsport Scotland.
Jamie Trinder (17), who is a member of the Cairngorm Snowboard Club, won the men's open category.
The event took place last week at the West of Scotland Snowsport Centre, Bearsden, Glasgow, and attracted a record 62 skiers and snowboarders.
The champs consists of two scoring components - big air on the jump slope and then the famous Bearsden quarterpipe. Riders have to score highly and consistently on both to be in the hunt for titles.
Jane Harvey, chief executive of Snowsport Scotland, said: "Jamie did fantastically well in his category. The standard of entries was incredibly high.
"Freestyle skiing and snowboarding is an ever-growing sport and these youngsters are dedicated to becoming the very best in their disciplines. These events help us nurture and celebrate the home-grown talent and it's also a great warm up for the Scottish Freestyle Invitational taking place at the Scottish Snowsports Festival on Princes Street, Edinburgh, on Saturday."
The freestyle competition categories are broken down into kid (born after 1999), youth (born between 1998, 1997, 1996), open (born 1995 or before) and female.
Cairngorm Snowboard Club chairman Les Andean said: "Jamie is doing really well just now, and he seems to win everything he enters. Angus his brother is also often on the podium."
Angus finished fifth in the youth category at the Scottish Dryslope Freestyle Championship.
Jamie also claimed the open title at the Bellahouston Lowlander rail competition on November 22. He is off to Avoriaz in the French Alps on Sunday, where he is training for a week with Quiksilver and helping out at a Just Snowboarding Camp.
