Newtonmore ended their 25 year wait for shinty's biggest prize - the Camanachd Cup - beating Kingussie 4-3 after extra time in a classic final.
Danny MacRae was the hero for the Blue and Whites hitting a hat-trick including the all important fourth goal just five minues from time..
A tearful MacRae said after the game: "It's just unbelieveable to have won."
Earlier Ronald Ross had struck in the 78th minute to make it 3-3 after the Kings had been trailing by two goals in the 104th final..
Newtonmore had flown out of the blocks with two early goals before Kingussie pulled them back at the Bught Park in Inverness in front of a huge crowd.
'More captain Scott Campbell held aloft the game's most famous prize to hoardes of Newtonmore fans who had gathered on the pitch to celebrate the 29th time the Eilan club has won the Camanachd Cup.
Kingussie had been looking to dispel the heartache of last year’s final-minute defeat at the hands of Fort William, to reclaim the trophy they last won in 2006.
Both team had chances in normal time and in extra time to win before MacRae crowned a day for him, his team mates and the village to remember.
