A family has offered a substantial reward for the return of stolen property including medals from both the First and Second World Wars.

They are desperate to recover the items, which were stolen following a break-in at a house in the Culduthel Road area of Inverness some time between July 26 and August 2.

The family is offering a reward offered not only for the safe return of these items, which were of sentimental value, but also identification of those responsible.

Anyone with information on who may be responsible for the break-in or the whereabouts of the stolen items, should contact Northern Constabulary on 0845 600 5703 or contact Crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
