There has been a second sighting of Darth Vader in the Highland capital following a report that a man resembling the Sith Lord was spotted in the city.
Police responded to reports last month that soneone dressed in black-clad as the Dark Lord of The Sith was frequenting the Scourgie area of Inverness.
Father-of-two Robbie Mathieson told the Strathy’s sister title, the Inverness Courier, that he spotted the Star Wars lookalike across the road from his home recently.
He said: "I spoke to him because my dog ran up but I couldn’t understand his English. He was wearing a German helmet which was not the actual Darth Vader helmet.
"But it’s the same shape and he had a long dark black or grey coat and he must be about 6ft 4ins tall."
Staff at the local Spar shop said that the thought that Darth Vader - infamous for his death grip amongst other evils - was at large in Scourgie had caused much local gossip.
